Introduction

IT and Broadcast worlds are merging. Finding the right solutions to go from tapes to Files becomes compulsory. Transmission modes are various: via Satellite, optical fibers, IP, mobile phone, iPod, iPhone, etc….Broadcasters, (post)production houses need to manufacture content that it is in the proper format, in the proper location, and with the proper components of both essence and metadata so that it can be appropriately consumed, whatever the listening/viewing device being employed. About Videomenthe

Muriel Le Bellac started Videomenthe in 2008.

A technical background (Engineer INSA Lyon, France), two years of project management at AAVS (French audiovisual systems integrator) and 11 years working for Snell & Wilcox France, a subsidiary of Snell & Wilcox, a well-known broadcast products manufacturer, as Sales Director, allow a global vision of the French audiovisual market and its new technical requirements.
