WFS is ideal for managing file-based video-centric workflow. It enables control of multiple ProMedia Carbon and ProMedia Xpress nodes configured as transcoding farm.The distributed nature of WFS allows for automated processing of high-volume transcoding tasks, failover support, managing job distribution, job prioritization, load balancing, FTP transfer, status monitoring and job notification

ProMedia Carbon

As standalone or integrated into a workflow system farm (WFS), the transcoding software ProMedia Carbon handles most of today wrappers formats(MEPG2TS, MXF, GXF, QT, AVI, WMV,etc..) and codecs (MPEG2, MPEG4, H264, VC-1, Flash,DV, DNxHD, AVCIntra, etc.). It also handles A/V plugins and standard conversions, format conversion up and down scaling ,closed captions, etc.
